How to create an interactive image (hotspot) in LibGuides

• Create image in Word or other software and save as a jpeg file
• Ensure image is the correct size for your LibGuide
• Upload image to a test LibGuide page to obtain a URL
• Go to http://www.image-maps.com/
• Insert URL
• Create hotspots as required on image and link to appropriate URLs
• Copy the html code generated
• Go to the LibGuide in which you intend to place your image and create a Rich text/Dynamic content box
• Insert the html code into the plain text editor
• Enjoy your interactive image
